Totem is the brainchild of a technocrat turned first-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Salalith Tottempudi, who wanted to cater to the fast-growing needs of the Indian economy.

As Chairman and Managing Director, his beliefs are firmly embedded in the company’s operation and reflect in the culture of the organization. His business philosophy has centered on the concept of building and institution based on lasting values. He has dedicated his life to laying the foundation and building a continuity plan for Totem that would be perpetuated for decades to come.

Mr. Tottempudi possesses an experience of over 19 years in the space of infrastructure development. Prior to the establishment of the organization, he was associated with the private sector in the field of Engineering and Project Management. A visionary and a pioneer, he drives Totem towards raising standards and pushing boundaries.

Ms. Tottempudi serves as Director of Totem. She is a maven in the field of journalism, having worked with major journals and news agencies in various capacities.

Her responsibilities include the development of the company’s overall strategic direction, which comprises of Quality-Audit, Process-Audit and ISO certification. She has been driving innovative practices for advancing and forecasting the trends and growth potentials in the Infrastructure Industry.

She also handles the company’s adherence to continuous improvement in the conduct of its business, operating policies, procedures for the safety, quality and productive execution.

Mr. Raju is among the oldest employees of Totem and is the Director- Marketing in the company. He plays a vital role by strategically bidding for key infrastructure projects across sectors and fueling the company’s growth.

He has focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with his clients and has successfully incorporated various new projects, joint ventures and partnerships. Under his stewardship the order book has risen exponentially.

With nearly two-decades of experience in diversified sectors, including an entrepreneurial venture of software products, Mr. Raju is vested with the responsibility of managing the company’s business growth.

With over three decades of experience in Buildings and Industrial Infrastructure sector Mr. Jha serves as the Director – Urban Infrastructure. With his expertise in Planning, Project Management and Construction of large scale Building, Township and Real Estate projects, he has developed the Urban Infra vertical at Totem.

Starting his career with NBCC ltd, he has served prestigious organizations like Gannon Dunkerley Realty ltd. as AVP and IRCON as Additional General Manager. He also has overseas experience of civil construction in Libya, Iraq and North Yemen.

With vast exposure in the Construction Sector, Mr. Nagaraj serves as the Vice President – Irrigation Projects. Prior to Totem, he was into his own venture in the line of Construction, Monitoring and Contracting and was closely associated with Government of AP, Singareni Collieries AP and globally established clients like L&T, HCC Ltd. etc. He has also worked as a Technical Consultant to several companies.

Mr. Mohanty serves as the Director –Human Resources. He's responsible for human resources policies and procedures, which ranges from administration to employee engagement, from training to performance management, from career planning to succession management. He is also the Official Spokesperson of Totem and also handles Corporate Communications.

His career track of more than two decades of experience in public, private and the development sectors spans a wide-range of assignments. Beginning his career as a journalist, he has served Eastern Media Limited as Sub- Editor, Steel Authority of India Limited as an HR generalist and has been associated with various prestigious assignments with nonprofit organizations like Partners In Change (PIC), Oxfam GB and CARE India. He has also held senior positions with Wipro as Associate Vice-President, IBM Global Business Services as General Manager -HR, and Posco India as General Manager - External Relations.
