| The agricultural sector is one of the largest contributors to the Indian economy and is dependent on irrigation for its productivity. According to a report published by the National Center for Agriculture and Policy Research, India will need to increase food grain production by 50% in the next two decades. India Water Vision 2025 has estimated that gross water demand in the next two decades will require an investment of Rs. 20,000 Crore per year.
We are poised to take advantage of this explosive growth in the irrigation sector, as it has long been one of our core areas, and our largest current project is in this segment. As the need for irrigation grows alongside the nation’s economy and its population, we are prepared to step in and fulfill this need wherever required.
